As part of the club development research we have been doing with clubs in Cumbria, one of the topics that has come up consistently is around volunteers. This is also one of the most common topics across the whole of the Country, particularly post-Covid. Consequently the RFU Team at HQ have put together a new support session to assist clubs and help them to develop their volunteer offer. The session covers a variety of elements, but we have decided to focus on the recruitment and support of volunteers in our 1st session on the 9th February – 7-8:15pm.
We hope that you will be able to join this bite size session which is available to ALL club members in Cumbria, the session will help to share ideas on how this can be done, look at new avenues for recruitment as well as how we support the volunteer network within our clubs. Please see attached an advert for the session in both PDF & JPG Format for help with promotion via emails or through club social media channels. We also hope to do a targeted send out to individuals on the Cumbria General Committee, so apologies if you receive this twice. Please pass this on to anyone from your club who you feel would benefit / add value to the session.
Please register your interest with liamnicholls@rfu.comand a joining link will be sent prior to the event.
If you have any questions or queries pre-session, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
